Procurement Business Partner

About the role

As a Procurement Business Partner at Nespresso, you will be the primary link between the procurement function and the business for solid board and corrugated packaging. You will collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, factories and category teams to turn business objectives into procurement priorities and deliver premium packaging solutions at optimal value.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business goals, brand requirements and renovation plans into clear procurement cases and value‑creation opportunities.
• Drive complex packaging projects across a wide portfolio of SKUs, balancing ambition, technical feasibility, quality and cost.
• Partner with category managers and suppliers to secure solid board, corrugated and paper‑based materials at the best value.
• Work closely with three factories and cross‑functional teams to anticipate and resolve supply, quality and operational challenges.
• Influence senior stakeholders, factory teams, suppliers and marketing functions with pragmatic, solution‑focused recommendations.
• Contribute to procurement targets such as savings, service level, compliance, risk management, sustainability and business continuity.

Required profile

• Solid experience in procurement, category management or a related role, preferably in packaging, manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, factories, suppliers and marketing functions.
• Technical curiosity and analytical acumen with interest in packaging materials, production lines, cost drivers and lean thinking.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, complexity and stressful situations with calm, resilience and a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Business‑oriented mindset, confident in constructive challenge and balancing premium brand expectations with operational realities.

Required skills

• Experience with data analysis and digital procurement tools.
