Product Development Assistant – Jersey & Kids

About the role

The Product Development Assistant for Jersey & Kids supports the Product Development Manager in delivering high‑quality apparel collections. You will act as a liaison between design, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth product development cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage prototype and collection hand‑offs with the design office.
• Coordinate prototype and sample launches with external vendors.
• Oversee shipment of raw materials (fabrics and trims) from the warehouse to vendors.
• Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and liaise with suppliers as needed.
• Assist the Product Development Manager in all Jersey & Kids development activities and vendor relationship management.
• Track products through pre‑production fitting, collaborating closely with industrialisation and production teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in jersey product development, preferably within a luxury environment.
• Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
• Flexibility to adapt to a changing global work environment and willingness to travel frequently.
• Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
