Senior Designer, Global Apparel

About the role

icebreaker is seeking a Senior Designer for Global Apparel to join its product team in Stabio, Switzerland. You will lead the creation of outdoor lifestyle apparel using natural fibres, balancing creativity, commercial awareness and practical execution.

Key responsibilities

• Create apparel that meets design quality, value and cost expectations.
• Lead design of men’s and women’s outdoor lifestyle collections across knits, wovens and other categories.
• Develop styles that respond to trends and consumer needs while staying true to the icebreaker brand.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Merchandising and Marketing on special projects and brand collaborations.
• Oversee external design resources, manage related administration and invoice processing.

Required profile

• Collaborative, flexible and problem‑solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting and product execution.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Clear communication and presentation skills to keep cross‑functional teams aligned.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with 3D product creation software such as Browzwear or CLO.
• Technical expertise in garment construction and pattern cutting.
