Programme Officer, DSIT/WYVC (Full‑Time)

About the role

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is seeking a Programme Officer for its Women, Youth and Vulnerable Communities (WYVC) Section. The role focuses on developing, managing and implementing inclusive trade solutions, especially Youth and Trade initiatives that support entrepreneurship and employability in developing countries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate assigned projects, monitoring progress and theories of change.
• Identify issues, initiate corrective actions and ensure follow‑up with relevant parties.
• Conduct consulting assignments on inclusive trade topics, facilitate workshops and help clients create action plans.
• Research, analyse and present information on trade and economic empowerment of women, youth and underrepresented groups.
• Coordinate policy development, reviewing and analysing relevant issues and documents.

Required profile

• Experience in project development, implementation and evaluation within inclusive trade or development contexts.
• Knowledge of trade and economic empowerment issues affecting women, youth and vulnerable communities.
• Ability to conduct research, analyse data and present findings clearly.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
