React Frontend Developer – Trading Platform (Zurich)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on React Frontend Developer to join a strategic trading platform team supporting a leading private‑banking client in Zurich. You will help maintain and evolve a mission‑critical front‑office trading application while contributing to new reusable frontend libraries and frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the existing trading platform frontend.
• Develop new reusable UI libraries, components, and frameworks.
• Build modern, scalable, high‑performance user interfaces using React.
• Collaborate with traders, business owners, and agile engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement of development processes.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on JavaScript development experience.
• Deep expertise in ReactJS.
• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js.
• Understanding of Unix operating systems and Bash scripting.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Previous experience in financial services is highly preferred.
