Remote Social Media Manager – Beginner Contract

About the role

This remote position supports a boutique hotel in the Braga region of Portugal, creating and executing social‑media campaigns that attract guests for events and celebrations. The role focuses on building the hotel’s digital presence across Meta platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and launch comprehensive social‑media marketing campaigns tailored to the hospitality and events sector.
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content on Facebook and Instagram.
• Write persuasive ad copy and edit advertisements to optimise performance.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign metrics to drive growth in engagement and bookings.
• Collaborate with hotel management to align content with brand positioning and seasonal promotions.
• Produce periodic posts highlighting the hotel’s unique features, guest experiences, and proximity to event venues.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social‑media campaigns for hospitality, travel or event‑focused businesses.
• Advanced proficiency with Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), including ad management and analytics tools.
• Strong copywriting ability with a track record of measurable audience growth and lead generation.
• Experience with content planning, scheduling tools and basic image/video editing.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work remotely.
• Ideally based in Portugal or familiar with the local market.
