Senior Compliance Officer

About the role

Alpinum Solutions is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join a large‑scale KYC remediation project for a Wealth Management client. The role focuses on reviewing and correcting client files that involve complex legal structures, ensuring full compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end KYC reviews for Wealth Management clients with intricate ownership structures.
• Assess trusts, foundations, investment funds, offshore companies and other sophisticated entities.
• Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Analyse beneficial ownership, source of wealth and source of funds documentation.
• Identify gaps, coordinate remediation with Front Office and internal stakeholders, and document outcomes in KYC systems.
• Maintain compliance with AML, KYC and relevant regulatory frameworks.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in AML/KYC compliance, preferably within financial services.
• Proven expertise reviewing complex client structures such as trusts, foundations, funds and offshore entities.
• Strong understanding of AML/KYC regulations, CDD and EDD processes.
• Experience in KYC remediation or regulatory transformation projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while handling a high volume of complex reviews.
