Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager – Corporate Tax

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager to join its Corporate Tax team in Lausanne. You will advise national and international clients on complex tax matters linked to mergers, acquisitions, financing, real estate, supply‑chain operations and broader business transformations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance on tax implications for a range of business activities, including M&A, reorganisations, financing and real‑estate transactions.
• Support clients with tax compliance, tax accounting and the transformation of their tax functions.
• Integrate Swiss and international tax legislation into client analyses and recommendations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary and cross‑border teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional growth.
• Maintain direct communication with clients and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Swiss master’s degree in finance or law, or enrollment in the Swiss Certified Tax Expertise programme.
• 3‑5 years of corporate tax experience in Switzerland within multinational environments, Big 4 firms or fiduciary services.
• Strong interest in business management and Swiss/international corporate tax law.
• Excellent analytical, logical and adaptive abilities, especially in finance and accounting.
• Process‑oriented mindset, effective communication and a passion for digital innovation.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
