Senior Consultant - Data Management & Governance

About the role

EY's Technology Consulting business is hiring a Senior Consultant in Zurich to work on challenging data management and governance projects for clients, using the latest technologies. The Consulting business focuses on business transformation programs, delivering data strategy, analytics and insight-generating solutions from design to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Work on data governance and data management topics on a project basis, for and with customers in Switzerland and internationally
• Support national and international organisations in areas such as supply chain, finance and risk, across sectors such as life sciences, consumer products and retail
• Learn through knowledge sharing, training and on-the-job experience
• Contribute to developing new propositions and innovative solutions responsive to market needs
• Help grow the Data Strategy, Management and Governance team

Required profile

• Master's degree with at least three years of experience in data management, including data strategy, data governance, master data management, metadata management and data quality
• Proven track record implementing data governance frameworks (e.g. DAMA, DCAM, CMMI, COBIT) and performing maturity assessments
• Flexible, proactive approach with strong teamwork and communication skills
• Fluent in both English and German

Required skills

• Proficiency with master data management software (e.g. SAP MDG, Reltio, SAS) and data governance tools (e.g. Collibra, Informatica)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and Google Cloud is highly desirable
• A background or interest in AI and data analytics is advantageous
