Senior Consultant – Tech M&A Advisory

About the role

As a Senior Consultant in the Tech M&A cohort of our Deal Transformation practice, you will help corporate and private‑equity clients understand the technology dimension of their most strategic transactions. You will work on high‑profile deals where technology drives valuation, integration risk and long‑term value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technology due‑diligence covering applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, cybersecurity, operating models and spend to surface risks and opportunities.
• Support technology integration and carve‑out planning, including Day‑1 readiness, TSA considerations and target‑state design.
• Analyse technology strategy, AI impact and operating‑model improvements to identify value‑creation levers throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Perform technology cost assessments, synergy analysis and investment planning in close collaboration with financial and commercial deal teams.
• Translate complex technical findings into clear, executive‑ready recommendations and present them to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong interest in technology, M&A and value creation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a leading university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in M&A, technology strategy, transaction advisory or related fields.
• Proven project and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Fluent in English; German and/or French are a plus.
