This senior position leads the external narrative for a developer‑focused platform, shaping how the company is perceived across the global app ecosystem. You will craft opinionated, timely content that highlights industry shifts, platform updates, and monetisation trends, while amplifying the brand’s voice through strategic distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain a consistent, developer‑first external narrative across all communication channels.
• Write and publish reactive commentary on ecosystem changes, policy shifts, and market trends.
• Lead product announcements, milestone releases, executive messaging, and thought‑leadership pieces.
• Partner with product marketing to extend the reach of launches through narrative‑driven amplification.
• Design and execute distribution strategies for major content, including social media, newsletters, selective media, and influencer outreach.
• Shape the company’s social voice by producing high‑impact, opinionated content that drives audience engagement.
• Ensure narrative consistency across all external‑facing assets and act as a key editorial voice.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, product, and leadership teams to align messaging with strategic priorities.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, brand communications, or narrative‑focused roles within tech or B2B environments.
• Exceptional writing ability, capable of delivering sharp industry commentary and polished corporate communications.
• Deep understanding of developer ecosystems, SaaS, or related technical industries and market trends.
• Proven track record of building narrative‑driven content strategies rather than pure campaign‑based output.
• Experience in content distribution, amplification, and driving engagement beyond publication.
