Senior Director – Trading & Head of Cotton Marketing

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic leader to head our global cotton marketing strategy. The Senior Director – Trading & Head of Cotton Marketing will drive destination liquidity, connect global supply with end‑user demand, and lead a team of senior professionals in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide global leadership for all cotton destination trading and marketing activities.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies for destination markets.
• Secure sales volumes across diverse customer networks.
• Monitor counterparty credit risk and ensure compliance with risk‑management policies.
• Liaise with global execution and origin shipment teams to ensure seamless transaction flow.
• Promote the Bunge brand within the cotton industry.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of hands‑on experience in cotton trading, with at least 5 years leading international teams.
• Extensive network within the global destination textile mill community.
• Deep end‑to‑end knowledge of the cotton value chain, from farming to spinning.
• Proven ability to manage complex contract disputes, ICA rules, and arbitration.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and a passion for talent development.
• Excellent communication skills and a data‑driven strategic mindset.
