Senior Finance Director – Technology FP&A

About the role

We are seeking a commercially sharp finance leader to partner with the CIO of a blue‑chip technology organisation. Based just outside Zurich, you will shape investment decisions, manage technology spend and drive financial performance across the global enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary business partner to the CIO and senior leadership on financial and operational targets.
• Own technology spend strategy, governing software, telecom and IT budgets and forecasts.
• Drive investment decisions through business cases, ROI models and capital planning.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting for the technology function.
• Provide financial input to vendor negotiations and cost modelling.
• Lead M&A due diligence, integration modelling and synergy tracking.
• Build and develop a high‑performing finance team and champion finance transformation through automation and analytics.

Required profile

• Recognised accountancy qualification with extensive senior finance experience in a large, global business.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of building business development and investment plans.
• Proven people leader capable of guiding and motivating global, cross‑functional teams.
• Organised, tenacious and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast‑moving environment.

• Base salary £180,000‑£200,000 per year plus up to 25% bonus.
