Senior ProServe Cloud Architect, Healthcare and Life Sciences (AWS)

About the role

The AWS Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) Professional Services team is looking for an experienced Clinical ProServe Cloud Architect to join its team in Europe. You will work directly with pharmaceutical and life sciences customers, including senior technology and business leaders, to turn their business objectives into cloud and AI solutions. You will create and lead solution designs that address customer business outcomes, acting as the link between ProServe Account Executives and the Shared Delivery Teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure AWS solutions that deliver measurable customer business outcomes across the HCLS development lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance during sales and implementation, covering clinical data management, regulatory submissions (eCTD), study conduct optimization and GxP compliance.
• Partner with customers on emerging technologies, especially agentic AI in clinical trial automation, CDISC SDTM/ADaM, EDC and CTMS.
• Work with Account Executives and delivery teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
• Share knowledge through coaching, demos, accelerators and technical documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of cloud architecture, designing and implementing cloud solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of deep technical experience designing, solutioning and building data platforms, AI/ML and/or GenAI solutions.
• Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects, including hands-on work, across data, AI/ML, application modernization or GenAI.
• Ability to present technical solutions to customer stakeholders and executives, turning complex architectures into business value.

Preferred qualifications

• Achieved AWS Professional certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, Generative AI Developer Professional or Machine Learning Specialty).
• Deep understanding of AWS services across compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning and serverless.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards such as HIPAA and GDPR.
• Experience architecting enterprise-scale clinical/commercial data platforms with multi-agent orchestration, API-based/batch ETL/streaming integration and cloud-native data lake architectures.
