Senior Risk Consultant – Non‑Financial Risk Management (Geneva)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Risk Consultant to help financial institutions strengthen their non‑financial risk management, with a focus on operational risk and operational resilience. You will work on consulting and assurance engagements, supporting clients in meeting regulatory expectations and building more resilient business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Apply risk‑management knowledge to banking and financial products.
• Participate in consulting projects addressing non‑financial risk regulatory and supervisory matters.
• Conduct targeted regulatory audits in coordination with FINMA and other regulators.
• Identify critical vulnerabilities and recommend controls to reduce operational disruptions.
• Support the design and implementation of governance, control, and resilience frameworks.
• Explore emerging risk areas such as data analytics and AI.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s, MBA, PhD) in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related business field.
• Strong motivation to work on consulting projects and regulatory audits.
• Solid understanding of risk management in the financial services sector.
• Ability to collaborate with regulators and client teams.
