Senior Software Engineer C++ – Endpoint Agent & OS Internals

About the role

Join Nexthink’s Engineering team to design and evolve the Collector endpoint agents that run on millions of Windows and macOS devices worldwide. You will work close to the operating system, delivering high‑performance, secure C++ software that powers digital employee experience insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Collector agents for Windows and macOS at massive scale.
• Develop modern C++20/23 code focused on efficiency, stability and security.
• Own features end‑to‑end, from requirements through production rollout and observability.
• Investigate deep OS‑level issues across diverse customer fleets and improve reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong C++ expertise.
• Demonstrated understanding of operating system internals and OS‑level development.
• Proven ability to lead a feature from concept to delivery.
• Clear, concise communication in English and a product‑oriented mindset.
