Senior Tax Manager – EUCAN (Zurich)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Tax Manager for the EUCAN region to join our Global Tax team in Zurich. The role will oversee corporate income tax compliance, audit defence and tax advisory across multiple European countries, including Eastern Europe, and act as a bridge between global tax leadership and local finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with business units in the assigned countries and provide tax analysis for transactions.
• Ensure corporate income tax compliance and coordinate tax audit defence, working with the TBS Tax Solutions team in Poland and local service providers.
• Identify, assess and mitigate tax risks proactively.
• Lead tax audits, align information requests and support global tax leads on audit strategy.
• Monitor and streamline indirect tax, withholding tax and other tax procedures.
• Track legislative changes that could materially affect the business and alert the tax planning team.
• Coordinate transfer‑pricing documentation and adjustments in cooperation with the Transfer Pricing team.
• Review contracts and business initiatives from a tax perspective.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, finance or law; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Significant experience in corporate tax compliance, audit defence and tax risk management within European jurisdictions.
• Fluent English; additional Eastern European language skills are advantageous.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across finance, legal, supply chain and senior management without direct authority.
