Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

As a Site Reliability Engineer at DeepJudge, you own the reliability of the AI search platform used by leading law firms, operating large‑scale search and retrieval services across multiple clouds.

Key responsibilities

• Own availability, latency and performance of production environments including search, ingestion and data stores on container‑orchestrated infrastructure.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across public and private clouds, handling networking, identity, compute, storage, capacity, quotas and cost.
• Improve deployment and infrastructure via GitOps‑based configuration, infrastructure‑as‑code, and safe, recoverable production changes.
• Define and instrument SLOs, error budgets, dashboards, metrics and alerting for observability.
• Reduce operational toil through automation and internal tooling written in Python and/or Go.
• Provision and standardize new production environments to meet reliability standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience in SRE, production/platform engineering, or infrastructure‑heavy software engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with container orchestration in production and at least one major public cloud.
• Solid cloud infrastructure knowledge, including capacity planning, quotas and cost management.
• Proficiency in observability practices using metrics, logs and traces to troubleshoot incidents.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and GitOps workflows.
• Ability to write automation or tooling in Python and/or Go.
