Staff Security Architect

About the role

Payward is looking for a hands‑on Senior Security Architect to join Kraken Security Labs. You will be embedded within engineering teams, providing deep technical security consulting across a wide range of products, from infrastructure to blockchain and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and verify robust security architecture in a heterogeneous environment.
• Conduct thorough security assessments and audits of existing architectures, recommending practical improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest blockchain security trends, threats and mitigation techniques.
• Provide expertise to blockchain teams, ensuring secure operational practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT security expert with a strong background in application security.
• Experience in security testing of diverse applications and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as OWASP and NIST.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills in a fast‑paced environment.
