Supply Planner SPM Visp 80%-100% (m/f/d)

About the role

Based in Visp, Switzerland, this position is part of Lonza’s Microbial manufacturing network. The Supply Planner will own the monthly supply planning cycle, ensuring reliable and compliant delivery of products that support life‑changing medicines.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the monthly Supply Planning cycle for Microbial operations, aligning with integrated planning, S&OP, and budget processes.
• Create, maintain and continuously improve the Supply Plan, including the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and medium‑term capacity outlooks.
• Anticipate supply risks, develop mitigation strategies with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality and Finance.
• Lead supply plan accuracy improvements through KPI definition, tracking, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Partner with Inventory Management to set inventory targets, manage new and phase‑out materials and reduce excess inventory.
• Maintain supply plans in SAP IBP and SAP ECC, driving material, labor and asset capacity plans.
• Provide functional leadership for MRP and scheduling activities, ensuring robust planning parameters and master data governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply or production planning, preferably in pharmaceuticals, biotech or complex manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of S&OP, MPS, MRP, inventory and capacity planning concepts.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into clear decisions.
• Effective stakeholder management and ability to build consensus across global, cross‑functional teams.
