Sustainability Business Analyst – Zurich

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a Sustainability Business Analyst to turn complex sustainability data into clear insights that support strategic decision‑making. You will work closely with senior leadership, including the Sustainability Committee, Executive Board and Board of Directors, to drive the bank’s sustainability agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and monitoring of the bank’s sustainability strategy through data analysis and reporting.
• Create concise, decision‑oriented materials for senior management and governance bodies.
• Develop and maintain sustainability dashboards and scorecards to track progress against strategic priorities.
• Enhance sustainability reporting frameworks, conduct GHG accounting and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with environmental and climate risk assessments, identifying impacts, risks and opportunities.
• Manage data collection, validation and consolidation for non‑financial disclosures (e.g., CSRD, TCFD).
• Coordinate annual questionnaires and disclosures for industry standards and ratings (e.g., UN‑PRI, MSCI).

Required profile

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience and a university degree (Master’s preferred) in finance, economics, data analytics, environmental science or a related field.
• Experience or academic exposure to sustainability reporting, GHG accounting, ESG analysis or environmental assessments is an advantage.
• Strong interest in financial markets, investment trends and the banking industry, preferably wealth management.
• Detail‑oriented, structured and quality‑focused work approach.
