Tax Advisor – US & EU Tax for Private Equity Funds

About the role

We are seeking a US tax specialist to support our client, an international bank's asset management division in Zurich. The role focuses on US and EU tax matters for private equity and other private market investment structures.

Key responsibilities

• Support investment fund practices, advising on corporate tax, AEOI, and US tax compliance and reporting.
• Review complex fund structures to ensure compliance with US tax regulations and prepare investor disclosures such as K‑1 schedules.
• Assist with fund structuring, launches, and ongoing operational tax matters while acting as a technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and investors.
• Identify and manage US tax risks, contribute to process improvement and best practices within the tax function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Law, Taxation or Economics; further tax education is a plus.
• In‑depth knowledge of CRS/AEOI and US taxation, especially for private market funds.
• Professional experience with a Big Four firm or an international tax consultancy, including corporate tax and fund investment compliance.
• Analytical mindset, goal‑oriented, strong team player with a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• US tax compliance and reporting (including K‑1 schedules).
• CRS/AEOI expertise.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
