Tax Associate

About the role

As a Tax Associate at Vialto Partners, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations for employees on international assignments. You will help minimise tax‑related risks and costs while supporting smooth cross‑border transitions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file tax returns for globally mobile employees within set deadlines.
• Provide specialised tax advice on planning, withholding, social security contributions and assignment structures.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR to calculate and report payroll taxes accurately.
• Advise on tax treaty benefits and tax‑efficient compensation packages.
• Educate employees on their tax obligations, tax equalisation and protection policies.
• Analyse compensation data to determine tax liabilities and identify potential benefits.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of international tax compliance and global mobility concepts.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex tax information clearly to non‑technical audiences.
• Team‑player mindset with experience working alongside Finance and HR functions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of tax return preparation for expatriates.
• Familiarity with tax treaties and cross‑border tax planning.
• Understanding of payroll tax and social security contribution calculations.
