Technical Manager – Luxury Hotels and Chalets, Gstaad

About the role

Barrière is hiring a Technical Manager through its partner Hosco in Saanen. The role oversees the maintenance, safety and technical operations of four properties in the Gstaad region: Fouquet's Gstaad (a 33-room luxury hotel with spa and restaurants), Fouquet's Promenade Gstaad (a 1,500 m² private chalet), the former Hotel Viktoria in Gsteig (26 rooms) and the former Hotel Krone in Zweisimmen (32 rooms). The position is a full-time executive contract with a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the technical operations, maintenance and upkeep of the hotel, chalet and two staff houses.
• Manage and supervise the technical team, including planning, task allocation, training and performance follow-up.
• Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programmes so that all technical installations work reliably.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss technical, safety, fire prevention and regulatory requirements, including inspections, certifications and corrective actions.
• Coordinate repairs, contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality, deadlines and cost control.
• Lead renovation, refurbishment and technical improvement projects from planning to completion.
• Anticipate technical needs so properties are ready for owners, guests and VIPs.
• Report regularly to management on maintenance, incidents, risks, projects and investment needs.

Required profile

• Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.

What we offer

• Annual gross package of 87,750 CHF (13 months, 6,750 CHF base salary, 13th month paid after the 2-month probation).
• Full-time executive contract with a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule.
