Technical Product Management Manager – Pharmacovigilance

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an experienced manager to lead the evolution of its Pharmacovigilance (PV) technology landscape. The role focuses on case processing systems, driving operational excellence, innovation, and regulatory compliance across global PV platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the product roadmap for PV case processing and safety platforms, translating business needs into scalable, compliant solutions.
• Lead Agile delivery, prioritize backlog, and manage the full product lifecycle including design, validation, and releases.
• Oversee end‑to‑end ICSR case processing, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance from intake to regulatory submission.
• Serve as product/IT lead for ArisGlobal LifeSphere MultiVigilance and manage ReporterX and XDI for intelligent data intake and integration.
• Enable seamless integration with RxLogix to support signal detection, reporting, and analytics.
• Drive automation and AI initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
• Ensure compliance with global PV regulations (FDA, EMA, ICH E2B, GVP) and maintain audit readiness.
• Monitor system performance, SLAs, and data quality KPIs; lead issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Partner with vendors on product strategy, upgrades, and innovation while optimizing cost and utilization.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing technical product portfolios in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Deep expertise in ICSR case processing workflows and PV regulations.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and coaching high‑performing teams.
• Ability to collaborate across Safety, Regulatory, IT, and vendor teams.
