Technical Support Specialist

About the role

As a Technical Support Specialist you will ensure the smooth operation and business continuity of digital products and IT services for the IKEA store in Lyssach. You will combine hands‑on troubleshooting with proactive maintenance and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee availability of digital products and platforms.
• Manage the full IT asset lifecycle, including inventory, procurement and deployment.
• Provide 2nd‑level support for hardware and software incidents.
• Assist with rollouts, upgrades and new site setups.
• Perform monitoring, preventive maintenance and incident prioritisation.
• Escalate complex issues and support global projects and deployments.
• Train on‑site staff and new hires.

Required profile

• Experience in IT support or technical services.
• Solid understanding of hardware, software and IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with IT service management processes and tools.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and independent work style.
• Customer‑oriented communication skills in German and good English.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
