Testing Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Testing Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of our advanced robotic systems. You will work at the core of hardware development, designing test setups and automating test procedures for mechanical and mechatronic components.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build custom test rigs, jigs and fixtures for functional, thermal, durability and safety testing.
• Execute hands‑on tests covering structural integrity, safety behavior and performance.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate test procedures, control actuators and sensors, and log data.
• Analyze test results to identify failure modes, performance bottlenecks and suggest design improvements.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electronics engineers to align testing with component specifications.
• Document test procedures, setups and findings for repeatability and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics or a related technical field.
• Proven hands‑on experience assembling mechanical or electromechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of product development testing procedures.
• Ability to work independently in a workshop using hand and power tools safely.
• Detail‑oriented problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Python scripting for automation and data analysis.
• Experience with ROS or ROS2 (bonus).
• CAD software such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360 for designing fixtures.
• Familiarity with data acquisition hardware and sensors (e.g., load cells, actuators).
