Tour Guide – Switzerland

About the role

Guide Alliance, part of the Tourismus Group, is looking for enthusiastic Tour Guides to lead engaging tours across Swiss cities, mountain regions, and cultural sites. You will be the face of the company, ensuring international guests enjoy a smooth, memorable experience from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct guided tours in various Swiss locations, adapting to group size and interests.
• Present historical, cultural, and local information in an engaging, accessible manner.
• Manage daily tour logistics independently, handling schedule changes, weather conditions, and guest needs.
• Maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere and represent the brand positively.
• Collaborate with the operations team and partner companies to ensure seamless tour execution.
• Report on tour performance and collect guest feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Switzerland’s cultural and historical background.
• Previous experience in guiding, tourism, hospitality, or related fields.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Polish are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking to groups.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and reliability.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to dynamic environments, and travel on weekends and public holidays.
