Tour Leader

About the role

As a Tour Leader with Guide Alliance, you will guide international guests through Switzerland’s cities, mountain regions and cultural sites, delivering engaging and well‑organised experiences from the first meeting point to the end of each tour.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct guided tours in various Swiss locations, presenting historical, cultural and local information.
• Create a welcoming, professional atmosphere for guests and manage tour logistics independently.
• Adapt calmly to schedule changes, weather conditions or guest needs.
• Collaborate with the operations team and partner companies, and report on tour execution and guest feedback.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Switzerland’s cultural and historical background.
• Previous experience in guiding, tourism, hospitality or related fields.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as German, French, Spanish, Italian or Polish are a plus.
• Excellent communication, punctuality, reliability and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and travel as required.
