Utilities Technician

About the role

You will join UCB's Technical Support & Utilities team in Bulle, Switzerland, ensuring the reliable operation of industrial and clean‑room utility systems that support pharmaceutical production. The position combines hands‑on maintenance, troubleshooting, and participation in continuous‑improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC, water, compressed air, and other utility installations in both industrial and clean‑room environments.
• Plan, execute, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Diagnose faults quickly to minimise downtime and restart systems safely.
• Support investment projects and qualification of new utility equipment.
• Prepare for and contribute to internal and external audits.
• Promote and apply site HSE and cGMP policies.

Required profile

• CFC or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven experience in operating and maintaining industrial utilities.
• Familiarity with controlled environments such as clean rooms and ATEX zones.
• Fluent in French and proficient in technical English.
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering, qualification, metrology, automation, and external service providers.
