VP Talent Management

About the role

This executive position leads the transformation of a Learning & Enablement function into a fully integrated, strategic Talent Management organization for a global workforce based in Switzerland. The role partners with senior leadership to define and execute talent strategies that drive performance, growth, and leadership readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a global Talent Management strategy covering performance management, learning & development, succession planning, career development and high‑potential programs.
• Own the end‑to‑end performance management lifecycle, including goal setting, reviews, calibration and improvement frameworks.
• Design and lead global succession planning and high‑potential identification to strengthen leadership pipelines.
• Build career development frameworks, competency models and internal mobility pathways.
• Oversee global learning and development programs, including onboarding and leadership development.
• Optimize Workday and LMS platforms for seamless integration and eliminate fragmented talent processes.
• Champion AI‑driven talent solutions such as learning recommendations, coaching nudges and skills gap analysis.
• Develop talent analytics to monitor workforce health, mobility, succession strength and program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, HR business partners, Finance and other stakeholders to align talent strategy with business goals.
• Lead, develop and inspire a global Talent Management team while driving operational excellence.

Required profile

• Senior talent leader with deep expertise across the full talent management lifecycle.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale transformation initiatives in global organizations.
• Strong ability to partner with C‑level executives and influence strategic direction.
• Demonstrated track record of building data‑driven, scalable talent systems.
