Account Manager Intermediaries – Geneva

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for an Account Manager Intermediaries (AM) in Geneva, working 100% on the account administration side of wealth management. Unlike the Relationship Manager, the AM has no own client book and focuses on order placement, handling client requests, executing trades and providing administrative support to the team, in close collaboration with the RM.

Key responsibilities

• Support RMs and the team in client interactions, answer incoming calls and maintain records of client instructions, details and preferences
• Create system-based reports for RMs and provide clients with factual information, without advice or opinions
• Handle and execute client requests by processing orders, trades, transactions and payments outside e-channels
• Manage internal projects affecting an RM's account relationships, keeping systems and documentation up to date
• Share information and ideas with colleagues to improve processes, plan ahead, document work and propose improvements
• Act as first line of risk defence, raise concerns, follow up issues and escalate as necessary, while complying with compliance, legal and internal rules
• Channel client feedback to the relevant people and departments to foster continuous improvement

Required profile

• Proven track record in servicing banking clients with complex needs, including onboarding and maintaining relationships
• Familiarity with the Middle East legal and regulatory environment and cultural awareness
• Excellent organisation, speed and accuracy under pressure; proactive, friendly and team-oriented
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with impeccable integrity and risk awareness
• Advanced knowledge of global financial markets and industry developments
• Fluent French and English (oral and written); additional languages are an asset
