Accounts Payable Accountant – SAP Expert (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA to join a mid‑sized industrial and manufacturing company in the Canton of Fribourg. The role is 100 % focused on AP activities and offers an immediate start.

Key responsibilities

• Process and accurately record supplier invoices.
• Manage and monitor supplier payments, ensuring timely execution.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports for the Accounting & Finance department.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice disputes.
• Maintain organized records in compliance with Swiss accounting standards and IFRS.
• Act as the SAP expert for implementation and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting principles.
• Fluent English with good written and spoken French (B2 level preferred).
• Ability to work in an international environment and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
