AI Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer to power up the traveller's journey for millions of holidaymakers. You will join the Automation Engineering team in a hybrid setting based in Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain production‑grade n8n automation workflows on a self‑hosted n8n Enterprise platform (AWS EKS).
• Develop custom AI solutions, integrating external LLM providers (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) via APIs, low‑code platforms and custom connectors.
• Support and extend the Company Context / Universal RAG Knowledge Base, including document ingestion pipelines and retrieval quality.
• Create NLP‑based tools for analyzing calls, emails and generating insights.
• Build generative AI applications for content creation, personalization and internal virtual assistants.
• Collaborate with data engineers, DevOps and other developers to ensure scalability and reliability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on AI development with demonstrable business impact.
• Fast, practical builder who can move from idea to prototype quickly.
• End‑to‑end problem solver who owns projects from concept to deployment.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and security‑aware mindset.
• Clear communicator who can present ideas and demos to business stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with n8n or similar low‑code automation platforms (Make, Zapier).
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript.
• Hands‑on with LLMs (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI), prompt engineering and agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of retrieval‑augmented generation, vector databases and document ingestion pipelines.
• Strong understanding of APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and micro‑services architecture.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes.
