AI Data Scientist – Generative AI & Machine Learning

About the role

As an AI Data Scientist at Siemens Buildings, you will turn complex engineering data into scalable, trustworthy AI solutions that drive product development, improve engineering productivity, and enhance cybersecurity. You will work at the intersection of data science, AI engineering, and product development, shaping how generative AI and machine learning are applied across the software and firmware lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate machine‑learning, generative AI, and advanced analytics models for product development and decision‑making.
• Support AI‑assisted capabilities in requirements engineering, architecture analysis, coding, testing, security, vulnerability management, and release readiness.
• Build prototypes, proof‑of‑concepts, and evaluation pipelines for LLM‑based applications, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) solutions, agentic workflows, classification and prediction models.
• Ensure AI solutions are robust, explainable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in AI and data science with strong analytical and statistical expertise.
• Proven ability to transform complex engineering data into actionable insights, models, and reusable data products.
• Experience working at the intersection of data science, AI engineering, and product development.
