Computer Vision Engineer, Applied ML

About the role

In this role you will operate at the intersection of applied machine learning and software engineering, building and deploying computer vision systems in real‑world manufacturing environments. You will design, train, evaluate, and debug models, curate high‑quality datasets, and bring state‑of‑the‑art vision models from prototype to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, train, evaluate, and debug computer vision and ML models.
• Curate and maintain high‑quality datasets for continuous model improvement.
• Ship vision models or pipelines to production environments used by real users.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest research and integrate new approaches where they add value.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation in computer vision and machine learning, gained through education or real‑world experience.
• Solid understanding of core ML/CV concepts such as training dynamics, generalisation, bias‑variance trade‑offs and evaluation methodology.
• Hands‑on experience setting up training loops, debugging convergence and tuning hyper‑parameters on real CV tasks.
• Proven track record of shipping a model or CV pipeline in a production or near‑production setting.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills and motivation to work in a fast‑paced environment.
