AI Product Concept Designer & Interior Stylist – Home Décor

About the role

A partner company is looking for an AI Product Concept Designer and Interior Stylist for a premium home décor brand selling online. The role is fully remote, long-term freelance and can be done part-time or full-time, with an expected workload of about 25 hours per week. You will turn design trends and customer preferences into original product concepts and photorealistic visuals, working with designers to prepare product imagery for e-commerce launches.

Key responsibilities

• Research interior design trends, competitors and customer preferences to identify new home décor opportunities
• Use generative AI tools to visualize and refine product concepts
• Create photorealistic AI-generated interiors (Japandi, organic modern, coastal) placing products in them
• Produce high-quality lifestyle and product imagery for e-commerce sites
• Maintain realism, composition, lighting and styling across all outputs
• Assess the market appeal and sales potential of proposed products
• Collaborate with designers and team members to refine concepts and prepare assets for launch
• Manage several projects, meet deadlines and consider manufacturing, material and shipping constraints

Required profile

• Excellent visual taste and strong understanding of interior design, colour theory, materials, textures and composition
• Strong imagination and ability to turn market insights into commercially viable products
• Relevant portfolio of interior visuals, AI-generated imagery, product concepts or home décor projects
• Fluent English and strong organization skills
• Nice to have: experience in home décor, interior styling or furniture; knowledge of US interior trends; product photography alternatives for e-commerce; familiarity with Pinterest, Instagram and iterative creative workflows

Required skills

• Generative AI image generation with tools such as Nano Banana, Flux, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney or similar
• Photorealistic interior scene and product imagery

What we offer

• Pay of US$25-$45 per hour depending on experience, skills and portfolio
• Part-time or full-time flexible engagement, 100% remote
• Initial 12-month contract with independent contractor status
• Direct contribution to product concepts, styling and visual assets for commercial launches
