AIV Engineer – Spacecraft Integration & Testing

About the role

ClearSpace is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join its Assembly, Integration and Validation (AIV) team. You will be responsible for the full spacecraft verification and validation process, from building test environments to testing flight models, contributing to sustainable space operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deliver and maintain test benches and test environments together with the AIV team.
• Collaborate with the system team to define test strategy and design supporting test environments.
• Develop and execute test procedures, troubleshoot software, hardware interfaces and communication layers.
• Drive continuous improvement of test design, implementation, analysis and delivery.
• Participate in the end‑to‑end spacecraft integration and testing across all subsystems.

Required profile

• Strong background in software development with expertise in reliable development practices and DevOps.
• Solid experience in hardware/software integration, including embedded or flight software with hardware platforms.
• Ability to work agilely with geographically distributed teams and propose innovative designs while meeting quality and schedule requirements.
