Android Software Engineer

About the role

Join HolidayCheck’s agile, cross‑functional team to maintain and evolve the Android app that powers millions of vacation searches. You will work closely with iOS developers, product designers and product managers to deliver high‑quality features for a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate in an agile team to design, develop, and ship new Android features.
• Participate in pair programming, code reviews and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Maintain and improve the existing codebase, ensuring performance, security and reliability.
• Contribute to the technical community through internal talks or blog posts.

Required profile

• Passion for learning, self‑organisation and experimenting with new technologies.
• Customer‑centric mindset focused on quality, speed and user experience.
• At least three years of professional Android development experience.

Required skills

• Kotlin
• Android fundamentals and architecture components
• Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow
• RxJava (optional)
• Experience with Node.js or Scala is a plus
• Published apps on the Google Play Store are highly regarded
