Asset Dispatch Operations Engineer

About the role

The Asset Dispatch Operations Engineer will be at the core of TotalEnergies' power transition, ensuring safe, real‑time dispatch and control of a growing portfolio of renewable and flexible assets. Based in Geneva, the role supports 24/7 operations and contributes to the company’s ambition of delivering over 100 TWh of net power production by 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Own the asset dispatch and control layer, integrating with market operators and TSOs/ISOs using the Aspentech DGM platform.
• Provide 24/7 operational support and act as the primary technical authority during real‑time dispatch incidents.
• Troubleshoot generation dispatch, SCADA, AGC behavior, market instructions and TSO communications.
• Implement and validate configuration changes to meet operational and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operators, dispatchers and TSO teams to ensure seamless market and real‑time operations.
• Contribute to a change program supporting the expansion of TotalEnergies’ Gas & Power business.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in real‑time asset dispatch and control for power generation assets.
• Strong understanding of market rules, regulatory frameworks and TSO/ISO interactions.
• Ability to extend, adapt and improve dispatch solutions as portfolios and market conditions evolve.
• Experience working in a high‑availability, 24/7 operational environment.
