Assistant Hotel Manager (m/f/x)

About the role

Join A-ROSA, a leading provider of experiential river cruises, as an Assistant Hotel Manager. You will support the Hotel Manager, ensure smooth onboard operations, and contribute to revenue optimisation across our premium vessels.

Key responsibilities

• Act as deputy for the Hotel Manager during absences and support administrative and operational tasks.
• Serve as the host on board and during events, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Control and optimise service processes in all hotel areas.
• Oversee F&B orders, delivery and inventory of non‑food items.
• Identify and nurture talent within the team, supporting leadership development.
• Contribute to revenue and cost control, optimising onboard revenues.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in the hotel industry with proven leadership experience.
• At least two years of professional experience in a comparable position or as a departmental manager.
• Very good German and English language skills.
• Experience on river or ocean‑going ships is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving and decisive attitude.
