Assistant Responsable Izumi

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Responsable for our Izumi restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva. The role supports the restaurant manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining Four Seasons standards of quality, hygiene and service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in leading and coaching the front‑of‑house team to ensure smooth operations.
• Welcome guests, escort them to their tables and ensure a courteous, personalized service throughout their visit.
• Oversee table reservations and optimise seating plans in line with quality criteria and operational procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation in the dining area.
• Handle guest feedback with empathy and take corrective actions when needed.
• Support inventory control, stock ordering and coordination with the kitchen.

Required profile

• Strong team spirit with a refined, warm and elegant personality.
• Ability to coach, manage and discipline staff while fostering a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
• Customer‑focused mindset with empathy and generosity towards guests.

Required skills

• Experience in restaurant or hospitality service management.
• Knowledge of reservation systems and seating optimization.
• Understanding of hygiene and safety standards in a luxury setting.
