Assistant - Technology Risk (IT Audit, Financial Services)

About the role

EY's Technology Risk team advises banks and financial institutions on IT risk, data security and confidentiality. As an Assistant in Technology Risk, you will join a collaborative team in physical and virtual settings, supporting Seniors, Managers and Partners in their assignments and developing your expertise under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in examining IT controls of financial institutions as part of IT audits and advisory assignments, such as IT general controls, regulatory or group IT audits, client-requested projects, IT due diligence and third-party assurance projects.
• Support the monitoring of processes so they meet audit objectives.
• Help document audit projects in a timely way, following global audit methodology and best practices.
• Contribute to the preparation of audit reports presented to clients.
• Collaborate with the audit team, keeping senior team members informed on progress.
• Take part in an educational program to develop your skills in IT auditing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, (Business-) Information Technology or an equivalent.
• Relevant certifications (CISA, CISSP, CISM or CRISC) are an advantage.
• Fluent English; German and additional languages are an advantage.
• Team player, analytical and problem-solving skills, clear communication, entrepreneurial mindset.
