Associate Director, Digital Innovation

About the role

The Associate Director, Digital Innovation will lead CSL’s digital customer engagement initiatives, focusing on Social Media and AI, to support Commercial and Medical objectives and the broader Omnichannel Strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Drive emerging digital and omnichannel innovation, advancing digital maturity and customer experience across the enterprise.
• Develop and scale a shared service for consistent, high‑quality social media customer experiences globally.
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications to define enterprise‑wide social brand strategy and activation.
• Establish design principles and processes that improve efficiency in social media outreach and demand management.
• Partner with Commercial Excellence, I&T, and AI strategy teams to create aligned digital engagement plans and avoid duplication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or business field.
• 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, primarily in Marketing or digital communications.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross‑functional, matrixed teams in an international environment.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of AI concepts and their application to digital customer engagement.
• Deep expertise in social media strategy, competitive intelligence, and influencer trends.
• Knowledge of design thinking, proof‑of‑concept, and value‑realization methodologies.
• Familiarity with relevant business, legal, compliance, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
