Automation Design Engineer Internship (12 months)

About the role

Jabil Switzerland is looking for a motivated Automation Design Engineer intern to join its Mezzovico site for a 12‑month internship. You will work closely with the Automation and Digital manager, contributing to the design and integration of automation equipment across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design automation equipment in areas such as mechanical, electronics, electrical, or software applications.
• Interpret requirements and specifications to create manufacturable designs.
• Collaborate with internal and external assemblers/manufacturers to ensure parts are produced to design specifications.

Required profile

• Functional knowledge of mechanical, electronics, electrical, or software application engineering.
• Understanding of mechanics manufacturing processes and automation equipment assembly.
• Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Mechanical, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
