About the role
Jabil is seeking a Machine Operator 1 for conversion work. The role involves producing simple tools and parts required for tooling manufacture using CNC equipment based on designs and CAM programs.
Key responsibilities
- Comply with the work plan for requested orders within the stipulated time.
- Execute CAM programs to determine appropriate milling cutters.
- Process and maintain CNC machines.
- Run machinery programs via DNC or control systems to produce the required product or lot.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Ability to understand tooling parts structure from drawings or real parts.
- Secondary school, high school or technical degree required.
Required skills
- CNC machine operation.
- CAM programming.
- DNC system usage.
- Milling cutter selection.
