Back of House Operations Supervisor (Hotel & Serviced Apartments)

About the role

The Yarn Hotel and its sister brand Stadtloft Suites are seeking a motivated Back of House Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operational activities across both the hotel and serviced‑apartment locations. This on‑site role is based in Horgen and will split time between supporting the hotel (approximately 40%) and the Stadtloft Suites portfolio (approximately 60%).

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate back‑of‑house staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Conduct quality checks and spot inspections across hotel and apartment sites.
• Coordinate schedules, manage workflow efficiency, and place operational and housekeeping orders.
• Support onboarding and setup of new apartment projects.
• Collaborate closely with front‑office teams and senior management to resolve operational challenges quickly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality operations and supervisory roles.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently, multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Valid driver’s licence.
