Banking Operations Consultant & Core Platform

About the role

ForFirm Consulting AG is seeking a Banking Operations Consultant to support a Core Platform implementation for a financial institution in Lugano. The consultant will work in a structured project environment, handling account opening data and ensuring static data quality under senior supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Load and maintain account data on the Core Platform using client‑provided standard files, applying per‑account customisations.
• Perform quality controls and reconciliations on static data to guarantee accuracy.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.
• Follow defined standards and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in consulting or banking operations.
• Exposure to core banking systems or structured data management projects.
• Fluent French (mandatory) and native or bilingual Italian (mandatory).
• Detail‑oriented, able to work autonomously.
• Knowledge of account opening processes or KYC is a plus.
