Brand Designer / Art Director (FMCG)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Brand Designer / Art Director to lead the visual development of our fast‑moving consumer goods brands. The role combines creative leadership with a strong focus on market performance, turning concepts into shelf‑ready products that capture consumer attention.

Key responsibilities

• Own the visual direction of multiple brands, ensuring consistency and market impact.
• Develop and execute creative concepts for packaging, web, social and marketing assets with a performance‑first mindset.
• Design packaging that grabs attention on the shelf, aligns with brand identity and drives conversion.
• Lead projects from idea through to market launch, managing freelancers and external partners.
• Leverage AI and modern design tools to accelerate workflows and improve output quality.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Brands and cross‑functional teams to shape holistic brand experiences.

Required profile

• 2–5+ years of experience in design, art direction or a related creative role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating FMCG, retail or packaging work with proven market execution.
• Hands‑on, fast‑moving, solution‑oriented attitude with a willingness to take ownership.
• Ability to challenge existing ideas and continuously improve processes.
• Fluent in German and English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including UI and web design.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance creative workflows.
• Packaging design with a focus on shelf impact.
• Web and social media asset creation.
