Business Analyst

About the role

MSF is seeking a Business Analyst to support its humanitarian mission in Geneva. The successful candidate will help design and implement solutions for Information Lifecycle Management and Digital Preservation, ensuring that technical solutions meet the needs of project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build a functional and technical requirements catalogue for Information Lifecycle Management and Digital Preservation solutions.
• Capture functional and technical requirements using proven techniques, validate relevance, resolve conflicts, and prioritize needs.
• Conduct discussions with stakeholders and team members to understand problems, needs, and ideas.
• Coordinate requirement walk‑throughs and sign‑offs, verifying that use cases and process models accurately reflect business needs.
• Prepare detailed functional and technical specification documents, considering existing system components.
• Collaborate on identifying market solutions, analyzing fit to MSF needs, and assessing value‑add for the organization.
• Assist in producing Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation and related activities.
